Scholarships for Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree Students
Madina Institute grants a limited amount of scholarships to eligible full-time degree-seeking students using the seminary‘s financial aid policies to determine need. Students apply for scholarship by completing Madina‘s scholarship application, which includes an estimate of their income and expenses. The difference between a student’s income and expenses is established using Madina’s expense norms. This constitutes the financial need of the student. After financial need is calculated, scholarships are awarded in the form of a grant at the maximum allowable amount less any financial aid received. Students who withdraw from the seminary or become part-time students (less than 9 credit hours for basic degree students) during a semester forfeit their right to scholarships and financial aid for the term in which such action is taken.
New students entering in the fall must submit the scholarship application form no later than June 1. Students entering in the winter term or spring semester must apply for scholarships no later than eight weeks prior to the first day of classes. Returning students must return the seminary’s scholarship application, along with any required verifications no later than March 30th. All students should submit applications as early as possible since awards are made as applications are received. Awards are contingent upon the availability of funds. Persons interested in more detailed information about the scholarships offered by Madina Institute should contact the Financial Aid Office.
